ABOUT

Navigating a career should be an adventure with each potential destination viewed as an opportunity.  Too often, job seekers are "reluctant travelers" on this journey, held back by fear, insecurity, or just simply feeling stuck.

Likewise, professionals and leaders often encounter blocks at critical points while developing or leading others.

Career Adventures seeks to provide you with the practical elements you need to pursue your next steps effectively, while also inspiring you with enthusiasm and optimism.

The program, designed to be completed in as few as three sessions, is collaborative and client-led. Together we will refine your ability to communicate the attributes, talents, experience and dreams you have to confidently connect you to a new juncture on your career path.

SUSAN BASH

“Why zig when we could zag?” This phrase was in one of my performance reviews. It neatly captures the way that I think when in creative discussions. With the big picture in mind, I always consider what would happen if we were to take a path less traveled. It’s not about being contrarian, but about considering all possibilities before making a decision. Zigging and zagging are fun and productive in high-level brainstorming and also when considering how to move forward in our careers. By looking at all possibilities and leveraging the best of our talents and interests, we can approach next steps with creativity, a sense of adventure and fun.

Curiosity and diverse interests have led me to forge a multitude of paths on my own professional adventures.

These comprise 25+ years in Communications, Marketing, Consulting and Talent Management.  I have most enjoyed pursing my passion for words, helping people communicate effectively, and setting them up for success. Through my career, I have accrued extensive experience at large public, high growth and entrepreneurial companies, across a breadth of industries.  I have been led to work all across the United States and abroad, meeting smart and extraordinary people who have made my treks all the more enriching and rewarding with their myriad perspectives and teachings.

I have a B.A. in English from Vanderbilt University and have trained with iPEC, an ICF-Accredited Coach Training Program.

It is my privilege now to provide consultation/coaching for both first time job seekers and experienced professionals looking to move out of or within their current roles. I help people launch or continue their career journeys and take their next steps with confidence and clarity.

As an iPEC certified Energy Leadership IndexTM Master Practitioner, I provide personalized assessments and results to give you valuable insights to the elements of your behaviors and consciousness that serve you well and those that hold you back from fulfilling your potential. These insights can be applied to your relationships, career, and all areas of your life.
